The two January events cannot be combined with White Turf in one normal-length stay. They can be combined with each other, which implies roughly 21–31 January.

The concours weekend costs 50 to 85 percent more than the polo weekend at most town hotels. Town runs roughly two to five times valley prices either way.
The marquee night of the whole period is the Badrutt's Palace Gala Dinner, which belongs to the polo tournament rather than the concours. Black tie, charity auction, described as drawing polo players, European royalty and industry figures, and it sells out weeks in advance. Afterwards the evening migrates to King's Social House at the same hotel, where it runs into the early hours. Two independent recaps confirm that migration.
Also in town: Dracula Club, founded 1974, members only, capacity around 150. Chesa Veglia, a 1658 farmhouse the Palace has run since 1936, fills fast even off-peak.
Army bases in Kampong Speu province, 90 to 120 minutes from the city, staffed by active-duty military. Openly booked through the mainstream tour platforms.
About $599 per person for the operator's own package: hotel pickup, the drive out, drinks, a video of the day, and weapon selection within that budget — including one RPG shot at $550. Cash only, passport required, 18+, and booking online in advance is necessary because walk-ins are refused.
At $550 a shot, the rocket is essentially the entire cost of the day. Without it the same day costs a fraction of that.

Originating from LAX saves $480 per person in economy and $1,856 in business. Trans-Pacific capacity is concentrated at the west-coast gateways, so a Phoenix origin pays a premium for a connection the itinerary makes anyway. Either drive, about six hours, or add a short positioning flight at $120 to $150 each way and keep most of the saving.
Two things to know before booking, both documented.
The mitigations are simple and they work. Book direct with a named operator or through a platform that issues a receipt and gives you review-based recourse, never through a driver's on-the-spot offer. Agree per-round price, minimum round count and total in writing before travelling. Confirm rounds per magazine before paying. Treat any on-site request for extra cash as a hard stop.
